SCOOPERS!
Parent-And-Me Intro to Lacrosse for Boys and Girls Ages 3-4
Scoopers is a lacrosse experience designed to introduce 3 and 4-year-old kids to the game of lacrosse! As with all Shine on Sports programs, there is also an emphasis on how to be your best self on and off the field. Equipment is provided. We use creative games and exercises to teach basic lacrosse skills, the main one being the "scoop" i.e. ground ball. We ask that a parent/guardian/helper to be on-field or close by to assist and learn alongside their little laxer as needed. We love to #growthegame for all ages! The goal is to associate FUN with LACROSSE and teach physical literacy in a supportive setting.

- How to be your best self on and off the field
- Lacrosse is FUN!
- Proper hold and grip of stick
- Cradle, scoop, throw/shoot
- Shooting form and technique
- 1v1 defensive concepts
- Hand-eye coordination
- The way you act can be a SUPERPOWER. We discuss and emphasize various superpowers each session such as toughness, teamwork and sportsmanship.
